Betfair Poker
BetfairPoker.com is operated by the well know sports exchange Betfair and so has a good base of players who have migrated over to play poker. Betfair Poker recently changed it's software having previously been part of the Cryptologic network. They had their own software designed and they certainly did a good job of it. The Betfair Poker site looks good, with rich colours and a simple layout, and works well with the ability to play six tables at the same time and always see your cards to the end of a hand, even if you folded.
If you like single table sit & go tournaments then Betfair has plenty to offer, especially to hold'em players. All levels are catered for with the lowest buy-in at $2.50+$0.25 right up to some heads up games at over $5000. There is a mixture of standard games on 6 or 9 seater tables with turbo and super turbo games also being offered. One thing that does let betfair down is that the vast majority of sit & go tournaments are no limit holdem though they have just introduced pot limit Omaha games at lower levels with more likely to be added in the near future. Also there are currently no multi-table sit & go tournaments, which are becoming increasingly popular, though these should hopefully be added soon as the new software develops.
Overall Betfair is a great site to play poker at and a good place for the sit & go enthusiast to play some poker. Befair has a good amount of normal tournaments and lots of ring games too if you fancy a break from sit & go's. With their bonus of up to $600 as well it's one that is well worth checking out.
